Okay let's start with last night.
Mutual was actually quite good. We did a service scavenger hunt. We got into teams and drove around the neighbourhoods asking people for clothing to download to the OUR Center. I texted my friend and she had a HUGE bag of clothes that we took. And I got to see her. So mutual wasn't a disappointment like it usually is.
Then I got home, was in good spirits, and had to do math homework. It was a tear-fest. I didn't understand anything. My dad help me, and we were up until 12:30 in the morning working on ONE freaking problem. But I got it right.
So then this morning I was super tired after only getting 4.5 hours of sleep. I almost fell asleep in Seminary. But I remembered what we talked about: missionaries and such. Woohoo. Points to Alina for remembering things.
Okay so then I had Science. We did a fancy lab with lots of poisonous flammable chemicals. It was cool. I help the thing that went pop.
Then I had choir. I got called out for not looking happy enough. I was kinda busy trying to NOT FALL ASLEEP. But whatever. One of the songs we're doing is a Frozen song. The Vuelie at the beginning. Na na na hey ya na. That thing. But I'm an alto so I sing the part that you don't even hear in the track. :(
At lunch I went to the Poetry Slam, which is a contest for preforming originally written poems. I got second place and the librarian wanted a copy of my poem about the library. I was happy.
Then I had history: Notes, boring video, the end.
And math... I got the one problem of math homework I did right. Yay! And I understood what we were talking about today. Sort of, with help. So hopefully I can do the homework without tears.
So it was the end of the day. The library was closed and my mom had to pick me up at 4. So what did I do? Listen to Into the Woods and fell asleep.
We went home. I did homework. Then I went to my sister's NJHS ceremony. It was boring.
And now I will go sleep. and sleep. A lot.
May magic live forever,
Alina
