January 27th

There's a lot going on today...
Seminary was good. We've started D&C Section 88, so it's going to take a while to get through it. I'm almost in Section 100 for my personal reading.
In English we got assigned this big pre-research thingy for The Great Gatsby. I have to do my presentation on 1920's fashion. And there is a lot more to it than flappers. It's going to be long.
I almost finished my clock spiral in art. I need to add a bit more modge-podge to the tissue paper and then it will be done.
In Spanish I found out I did my homework completely wrong, and my teacher got mad at me. Later she explained it to me, and I tried to tell her why I got the wrong answer/ what my thought process was, but she kept cutting me off. Then we started reading a Spanish book, which the class had started on a day I was gone, so I was very confused.
In my Leadership Class we got assigned and even bigger project. We have to do a 30 minute presentation! My group was assigned to do recreation, and we have to talk about it/ do an activity for it in a half an hour. We're going to talk slow. Oh, and the best part? It's due on Monday. My teacher is crazy.
After school I went to the library to work on AP applications, and then went out at 3 like I normally do to get picked up. Mom didn't show up. I had texted/called her phone, but it was on silent. I finally called the house, where a very sleepy mother answered. She fell asleep. I'm not mad or anything, I just sat outside (it was a really nice day for January) and worked on my Neverland drawing.
When we got home I ate food and did chores, and then worked on AP applications some more. I've finally finished, but now mom has to check for grammar mistakes and such, so I'm not really done. But almost.
And that's been the day. I had tumblr breaks in-between application writing of course, and I'm feeling pretty good. Except it's 9:30 and I'm tired. Oh well.
May magic live forever,
Alina
