January 28th

Yay! Happy Day!
Seminary was good. I was super tired but I had a laugh over the conversation my ride and I had. She had texted me at 2 in the morning saying she wouldn't be able to come, and then at 5 she said she was coming. She had been sleep texting. In Seminary we talked about animals, and my teacher brought down the snake I didn't know she had. It was shedding.
In Chemistry we did a review of everything we had done, and I got everything right. Huzzah! I also got a teacher recommendation for AP Chemistry next year.
I've been learning my songs for choir, and I think I'm getting the hang of the alto part. The songs sound really good and I can't get them out of my head.
During lunch I finished my AP Chemistry application. I didn't know there was a writing part.
In history we took a quiz... I don't think I did very well on it. Then we went to a computer lab to work on our history projects. I'm doing pretty well on it.
In math we had a substitute, and we just did busy work. And guess what? I understood it! I really understood it. I think I'll be able to do my math homework. The book was actually helpful and explained everything well. I was very proud of myself.
Then I waited FOR EVER after school for the AP Chemistry teacher to come to his room so I could give him my application. But I got it to him.
At home I messed around on tumblr and worked on the thing I taught for mutual tonight. Then I called my most bestest friend to talk to her about Girls Camp. She's coming!! I'm finally going to have a non-lonely year at Girls Camp! I might actually have genuine fun! We talked for a long time about Girls Camp. I had to explain how everything worked. But I don't know everything since I'm a YCL this year. I don't know everything YCL's do. Then we started talking about Churchy stuff, and I did a really bad job of explaining things to her... I'm not very good at explaining Churchy stuff. After about an hour and a half of talking to her, it was time to go to mutual.
For the first half we learned how to make metal rings. I made an infinity sign one. "Some infinities are bigger than other infinities." Hehe.
Then I taught everyone how to do grid drawings. I draw a lot, but can't freehand. I compromise and do grid drawings. They are super good and super detailed. Better than anything I could do freehand. I wish I could freehand though... I also started a new drawing. It's my first one of a real person. Guess who I did? Clara Oswald. In her Robin Hood dress from Season 8 Episode 3. Jenna Coleman is GORGEOUS. And I love her. She is amazing.
Well, that's been my good day. Hopeful the happiness continues throughout the week (though I doubt it will).
May magic live forever,
Alina
